Fantasy will meet reality! 28 seconds later is a project created by Godxiliary, an online collaborative sound projects outlet, with the theme of February. The goal was to create a 28 second composition that would be featured on godxiliary.com as part of the GXDL 28 compilation.
This quirky, surreal adventure can be best described as nostalgia, vertigo and euphoria all stirred into one emotion that will make you dance, shake, and beg for more. This massive collaboration explores various soundscapes and atmospheres throughout 101 compositions featuring 47 minutes of audio bliss and mayhem.
As the warning track states the “experience will seem completely real.”
The result? Well, “your subconscious fears will be transformed into your conscious awareness.”
This release is perfect for busy lifestyles and short attention spans.

I was sorting through a list of last year’s music on one of my LSDJ carts and I found this song, Trial and Error, which was previously released on the pre-hacked 8bitcollective. I re-recorded the song, mastered it, added a few details here and there also, and I cut some pieces from the original version.
It was written using 3 channels, with a Wave lead, on LSDJ. Recorded in UbuntuStudio on Ardour. Compressed at ~256kps VBR to MP3 format. Click the image above to listen/download.
